Super Sports Cars Have No Regard For Conservation

With the price of petroleum and gasoline these days, and the consideration for the environment (greenhouse gases, carbon footprints, global warming, etc.) it's hard to imagine that people still drive their vehicles for recreation purposes. People will take their cars out for "a spin", or go "joyriding" just for the fun of it.

But I guess these people are of a different mindset than those concerned with conservation and saving money. I suppose that if I lived in a different part of the world, and I were fortunate enough to be able to afford a luxury automobile, or even a supercar, some sort of extreme sports car like a Jaguar or a Koenigsegg or a Porsche, then I suppose I might have a different perception of the world.

I suppose I could be forgiven for wanting to speed along the Autobahn in a Ferrari Testarossa or a Lotus Esprit, but perhaps I would be more impressed with some high-performance electric-powered sports car, something that Ed Begley Jr. would be proud to call his own! I suspect that with the way the world is changing, and how technology is progressing, it won't be too long before we see high-performance hydrogen, electric, or even water-powered sports cars speeding up and down the great super highways of Europe! Heck, I wouldn't even be disappointed if these Earth-friendly extreme supercars could only do 200km/h or so.
