Ah, what to do about the gas crisis? It seems like everyone is bemoaning the fact that the outrageous gas price are causing them to go broke at the pump. It's no joke either. In just the past couple of months, Americans have seen a significant increase in the price of gasoline. What to do? It's also worrisome because while we have hybrid vehicles that are available, the technology isn't quite perfect. As a result, many hybrid vehicles are still somewhat overpriced. There is nothing I would love more (personally) than to get rid of my small-size SUV and trade it in for a more economical car. In the meantime, however, some farmers are resorting to old fashioned methods of plowing fields by using a horses or oxen versus breaking out their diesel powered equipment. Around the country, people are opting to start their own "potted gardens" because it costs too much to go to the store to get food; and then when you actually make it to the store, the food is also expensive.
